It's not very often that I'm up at six o'clock on a Saturday morning. General Motors has partnered with a San Francisco-based start-up company named RelayRides to enter the car-sharing business. In early 2012, GM vehicle owners in California will be able to use the OnStar system to rent out their cars when they aren't using them. The service will available nationwide for OnStar subscribers by the end of the year.
Winning the Super Bowl is a tremendous achievement, and after the festivities were over on Sunday, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith received another present in addition to a Super Bowl ring. Smith was voted Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLVIII by fan vote and a media panel on Sunday, during the postgame show.
